Danica Lombardozzi, PhDAssistant ProfessorMy research focuses on how terrestrial ecosystems are changing in response to human activities and the impact that these changes have on climate. I use a combination of field and laboratory techniques, ecological models, and data synthesis to address these questions across spatial scales and through time. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University and a Project Scientist III in the Climate and Global Dynamics Lab at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

Marian HsiehPhD CandidateMarian’s research interests broadly include land-atmosphere interactions and human health. Her dissertation work focuses on impacts of agricultural land-use management on climate and extreme heat exposures. She received a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Washington, focusing in plant ecophysiology. Before joining the lab, she worked in crop-microbe applications and public health in Seattle.

Rachel HallmarkMS StudentRachel is a Master's student in the Ecosystem Sustainability program at Colorado State University. Her research interests broadly include representing terrestrial ecological processes in Earth system models. She received her B.S. in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity from the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining the lab, she worked as a research technician in crop ecology labs. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, cooking, and crafting.
